1. Who you’re buying from
These terms apply to the sale of physical Mum Bucks cards through mumbucks.ie. The seller is [SELLER LEGAL NAME] — [a sole trader based in Ireland / a company registered in Ireland, CRO no. [CRO NUMBER]] — at [REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS]. Contact: hello@mumbucks.ie. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
2. What you’re buying
You are buying a physical NFC card — a tangible product we print and post to you. The card is made to work with the Mum Bucks app: you register the card to your child’s profile, and tapping the card to a phone opens the app at that profile.
The price is for the physical card only. Buying a card does not by itself grant any subscription, digital credit, or in-app entitlement, and is separate from any Mum Bucks app account, which has its own terms.
3. Prices and VAT
Prices are shown in euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. Any delivery charge is shown clearly before you pay, so the total at checkout is the full amount you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we’ve already accepted.
4. Your order
- You place an order and pay through Stripe’s secure checkout.
- Payment authorises the order but does not by itself form a contract.
- The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we can’t accept your order — for example an item is unavailable, or there was a genuine pricing error — we’ll tell you and refund any payment in full.
We fulfil orders by hand and post them from Ireland.
5. Delivery
See Shipping & Returns for delivery areas, times, and costs. Risk in the card passes to you on delivery.
6. Your right to cancel
As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU and Irish consumer law — see Shipping & Returns for how to use it. This is in addition to your rights if a card is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
7. Faulty or damaged cards
If a card arrives damaged or faulty, contact hello@mumbucks.ie and we’ll provide a replacement or refund. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
8. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and you may bring proceedings in the Irish courts. Nothing here affects your mandatory rights as an EU consumer. If we can’t resolve a complaint, you can use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
